Testing instruments for the raw material control
The user (customer) needs the assurance, that the raw material qualities supplied by the raw material manufacturer are as always as possible available in same quality.
To control the product qualities of the used raw material and at least to guarantee of the process and product quality, the user is often forced to maintain a so-called product receiving control. Also the material specifications added with the raw material supplies do not represent normally any assertion of qualities for a certain operation purpose and do not release the customer from its own product receiving control.
For a fast and simple receiving inspection we recommend the following procedures:
- Determination of the density
- Determination of the Melt Index (MFR- and/or MVR value)
- Determination of the ash content
- Determination of the moisture
