MICRO-IRHD System

The MICRO IRHD SYSTEM provides hardness readings on elastomers according to MICRO IHRD. Recommended specimen thickness is 1 to 5 mm. It complies to international standards such as ISO 48 and ASTM D 1415. The MICRO IRHD SYSTEM is a hardness testing machine controlled by a MSWindows software.

2 weights are automatically lowered and raised. Thus this system eliminates operator errors while testing. Specimen are positioned on the support table. The table automatically drives to the measuring head. The minor load is automatically lowered to the indenter. This position of the indenter represents 100 MICRO IRHD. The major load is lowered now. The penetration of the indenter is digitally measured after 30 seconds and converted into MICRO IRHD UNITS.

The MICRO IRHD software checks and controls the operation of the system. The software is working under MS-Windows and offers unique features. The hardness value, graph, hysteresis, statistics, test report, label printing are only a few features of this software. An ASCII-output file is provided. All data are transmitted to the IRHD Controller, which is connected to the RS 232 interface of the computer.

Shore-Hardness Tester Model 3000

Durometer Model HD3000 is our standard model. The gauge features a full-sized non-reflective dial face for readability accuracy of 1/2 point. The durometer conforms to DIN 53505, ISO 868, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240.
Model HD3000 is designed for handheld applications or for use in combination with our Operating Stand Model OS-2.

Operating Stand for Shore-Hardness Tester

The Durometer Operating Stand Model OS-2 allows for accurate and repeatable Durometer readings. It rules out subjective test errors, which may be caused by differing load application forces or non-vertical application of the Durometer to the test piece.

Features:

The Durometer Operating Stand works on the constant load principle.
The sample is positioned on the support table. The Durometer is lowered shock-free by means of a manually operated lever. The hardness value can be read directly from the Durometer.
The stable Durometer-unit consists of Aluminium. Due to the low weight the Durometer-unit can be easily adjusted in height. Small and big samples can be tested in the Durometer Operating Stand.
A crash ring - mounted on the column - eliminates a crash between Durometer and support table, when lifting or lowering the Durometer-unit.

Shore-Hardness Tester Model 3000L

Type 1:
Slim Probe 1, foot DIA. 8 mm for hard to reach areas or irregular shapes.

Type 2:
Chisel shaped (angled foot) for hard to reach or narrow areas.

Type 3:
Slim Probe 2, DIA. 5.0 mm. A thinner foot for reaching hard to get places or irregular shapes.

Type 4:
ASTM D 2240-OO. For checking human skin, foam, or soft rubber. The durometer is pictured with the OO/OOO constant load weight (top) and the extended foot.

Kalibriergerät RC1

The Durometer Calibrator Model RC-1 was designed for in-house calibration ability. The Calibrator comes with weights for calibrating the spring-load of durometers in the A, B, C, D, DO and O scales. Due to the new design it is also possible to use durometers of almost all renowned manufactures by applying our optional adapters. This allows the application of durometers already available to you. Model RC-1 is a great way for reducing costs in quality control. Since the introduction of ISO 9000 new standards in quality control have been asked for. The calibrator conforms to national and international standards such as DIN 53505, ISO 868, ISO 7619 and ASTM D 2240. According to these durometer readings must be within +/-1 of the point indicated on the scale.
 
Model RC-1 comprises a sturdy steel base and can easily be levelled with 3 handwheels and the built-in box level. The Durometer Unit is adjustable in height and almost every durometer brand can be mounted. The balancing unit comprises a balancing arm and moveable balance weights. After balancing the arm you can easily check the spring-load via 10 durometer points.
